It's been quite a while since my last update on my Generosity page.(https://www.generosity.com/education-fundraising/witches-of-italy-an-educational-research-trip) ..but that's because I was in Italy on my very successful and exciting research trip! Internet was difficult to come by there because I was deep in the forests or in medieval towns or at tops of mountains, and when I did have wifi I was moving photos and video footage.  I have posted many photo series on my personal Facebook page, but I will also begin posting them here so you can see them. More exciting news, I am starting to give lectures about my trip's research, complete with videos and photos! I am organizing all this material into a book, even though it is enough for several books, but in the meanwhile I've received so many requests and invitation for lectures or podcasts,  I decided to give a few and plan a few more. If you are in the NY state area, I have two events coming up in just a few weeks: Monday September 19th at Brid's Closet in Cornwall, NY I will be speaking on Italy's Witches and Medicine Women from 6:30-8:30pm, $20, 282 Main Street, Cornwall, NY 12518 (845) 458-8726. On Friday September 23 from 7-8:30 pm I will be speaking at Catland, 897 Flushing Avenue, Brooklyn, NY (718) 418-9393. The Catland event is selling tickets due to high volume interest, so you must get a ticket here instead of at the door:https://www.eventbrite.com/e/italys-witches-and-medicine-women-tickets-27195035082. Both events will feature video footage, photos, and a Q&A session!

Monday, August 8, 2016

I will be in NY for 3 events: two lectures with video and photos regarding my research on Italy's Witches and Medicine Women, and an Ancestor Pathworking Guided Meditation. Please read all the details below! I will also be available for private readings in-person or via phone September 20, 21, 22, 25.

1.5-2 hour Lecture (with photos and video footage) of Karyn Crisis' research trip of Italy's Witches and Medicine women.

As a natural born and Spiritualist trained Medium, I had no real investment in the history of paganism and witchcraft, that is until Goddesses began communicating with me in the same way passed-on relatives and loved ones did. They began to tell me about the many spiritual practices and multi-cultural imprints all over Italy, which I later found evidence of in Italian literature. They also began to impress upon me the healing powers of "witches" all over Italy, the ancient lineage of the feminine mysteries, and invited me to come to the land and discover a most wonderful matrilineal history buried under  the genocide of the Inquisition.

Come discover the fascinating history with me, as I reveal information given to me not only through my own Spirit world communications, but as evidenced through the many professors, researchers, published authors, local Streghe and Bajiue(witches,) Nonnas, and herbalists, historians, and folk story experts who provided me with this research from Italy.

What are witches and their local names?
Do their ancient practices bear any resemblance to modern witchcraft?
Why is witchery so widespread in Italy?
What are the other cultural influences, pagan strongholds, and beloved Goddesses and why did they receive such devotion?
Learn of the Inquisition's trail and why it had more power in the north than the south
What were witches powers, and are there different types of witches?
How did they learn their secret knowledge?
Who are the Benandanti?Janara? Streghe? Bajiue?
Where did the legend of women dancing around a magic walnut tree come from?
Who are the Longboards and what do they have to do with Wodan, Freya, and the Streghe?
Are there Goddess temples remaining and where are they located?
What were the secret healing herbs used to cure disease by uneducated women and how did they learn about them?
How successful was the ability to cure of the witches?
What was the Inquisition's real purpose?

Karyn Crisis is  a spiritual Medium, channeling guidance from the Spirit world.
Karyn is a Teacherof Mediumship (the system of channeling and communicating with the Spirit World based on the Master Teachings) to beginners as well as already practicing Mediums, natural born sensitives, and psychic trainees. Karyn has trained people in many occult practices to deepen and clarify their own work with the Spirit world such as: witches, healers, empaths,  modern shaman and druids, ghost hunters, tarot readers, spiritualists, skeptics, and psychic seekers. Her San Francisco-baed workshops have been a popular and integral part of the Spiritualist community in the Bay Area.

Karyn’s  Writings are  currently focused on reclaiming Ancient Wisdom received through the Old Ways. This feminine, receptive practice of devotional Mediumship offers empowerment in our modern times through connecting us to our still-living legacy of the Medicine Women, Wise Women, and “Witches” of the past, as well as to their Goddess Guides and Teachers.  Karyn’s own Guides are working with her to document these Master Teachings as they have been taught by Goddess Guides since ancient times. www.KarynCrisisHeals.com

Italy's Witches and Medicine Women

I’m about to take an Educational Research Trip to Italy to uncover (and eventually turn into a book) the TRUE story of Italy’s Medicine Women, aka Witches, from medieval times and beyond, who had an astounding power to actually cure disease, who had a vast knowledge of plants and their uses. So great were the powers of these humble women to cure, to bring new life to this planet as midwives, so beyond their education level was the quality of their medical knowledge that doctors as far aways as France were baffled, doctors who had a much lower success rate with patients than these women!  It’s also reported that people who went to monks simply died waiting for a miracle.
In times when life meant everything, these women were able to preserve lives and make them better…but somewhere along the way they were deemed evil and against life, and I will also explore how this happened.

Most of what we know about witches and indigenous Medicine women in general is from outside sources like folklore, which tend to be stories created to have a social control impact and to incite fear. Sometimes we have information, published by scholars who are just re-publishing information that historians, archaeologists and anthropologists have published. Then there’s religious dogma. The trouble with all of these sources is that they are all telling stories from OUTSIDE a spiritual practice. They are interpreting things they have seen, or remnants in forms of objects through their own ideas from an outside view of a way of life they’ve never taken part of, so often their reports MIS-represent important parts of our spiritual history.

WHY ITALY:
ITALY happens to have been a most exciting melting pot of simultaneously existing sub”cult”ures from other countries, who practiced alongside their own indigenous Medicine Women: Celtic female Druids, esoteric Jews, Dianic cults, followers of the Goddess Isis of Egypt, Scandinavian Longobards, who had a ritual of riding around a magical tree on their horses, a tree which housed a golden viper, ancient Turkish Goddess cults, mystery cults from Greece and Ancient Iran. Most of these were matrilinear cults, and at the heart of all this spiritual practice were the indigenous Medicine Women of Italy, who not only practiced a spirituality in which nature served as a conduit for higher consciousness, but who were also on the receiving end of this legacy of higher information that defied their humble daily life limitations and lack of education.  These humble country “miracle workers,”  were for some reason were attacked in a strategic genocide that lasted over 700 years, aka The Inquisition.

While writing “Salem’s Wounds”, I expected to connect more deeply to the history of witch burnings in the U.S., but my exposure to this story would wind its way back to my stay in Tuscany, Italy, when I was introduced to the Old Ways there. It’s now my turn to give back to these women, who were targeted by a 700 year inquisition in Europe.

My book won’t focus on that genocide, but I will touch on its breadth, its cause, the strategy and planning of it, what was truly behind it, and how it STILL affects all modern women and men.

My focus is more spectacular and wonderful: the great power these women had to cure disease and how they got it, and of the personal connection to the Spirit World available to all of us, empowering us to ask the most deep searching questions and to receive back immediate answers.

About a year ago into my own research on this subject matter, my husband translated two book that he bought for me in Benevento (known as “City of theWitches” in South Italy) from Italian to English by authors Carlo Napolitano and Fabio Garuti. In those books I found that there are places still existing where it is claimed these women carried out their lives: dancing under the moon around a magic walnut tree, places where they were burned, where their lives were spared, and a specific river where they did rituals.

Carlo specifically has written extensively about the location of the magic walnut tree of Benevento, its legends, and how we discovered its original location. He’s agreed to take me to this site, as well as to a specific river,  alleged to be the riverbank of the Janara by locals who claim it is haunted. In his book, Carlo describes apparitions people see there of old women dancing around a fire, how people see lights and apparitions of ritual-clothing clad people, strange distortions of time that occur there, and how automobiles go dead.

There are other places I would like to visit on this trip as well: I’d like to return to Tuscany and visit the places I stayed in before but also go to Volterra, to see the remains of Diana’s Temple on the receded lake bed of Lago di Nemi, several hillside towns where women still practicing these old ways are said to live, to speak with locals, the island of Sardegna, and Benevento and its surrounding areas. Benenveto, called “City of Witches” in the south where no witches were burned I’ve been told by locals, seems to be a living legacy of these old ways. My Italian husband reported it to be a city of psychics and Mediums who heal people with songs from the spirit world, who give free divinations and readings, and where doctors heal ailments with spells. There is an obelisk to the Goddess Isis here, and from its base I was given a loose stone that turned from tan to black. There is also a city of witches in the north called “Triora.” I’ve located a places where witches were burned here.

As a Medium who communicates with the Spirit world of passed on relatives, loved ones, Guides of all types, and has helped spirit people cross over from “stuck” places, I well know the importance of going to a location where trauma has occurred, or where wonderful ceremonies have taken place to fully experience, as much as possible, the resonance of those happenings and to communicate with any spirit people residing there and who may have messages about what occurred there.

As a researcher, it is imperative I go speak with locals from the land on which these stories originated.

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS
Some of the questions I’d like to ask, and the answers I’d like to ask are as follows:
+ Who were the WITCHES and MEDICINE WOMEN of Italy’s medieval and ancient past?

+If they cured disease, brought babies into the world, helped people by reading their futures through divination, gathered other information psychcically and with help from Spirit World which made life better for those around them, why were they deemed evil? Did their communities turn on them?

+Is there evidence of the 700 year Inquisition being a strategically planned anti-campaign by the church and military to wipe out a feminine, receptive spiritual way of life through psychic sensing and spirit world communication to prevent all people from loving this natural way of life?

+where did this word “witch,” or in Italian “strega,” come from, and what are some of the other names these medicine women were called in their regions?

+ Why were people in Italy so lovingly devoted to Goddess cults, even after the church tried to wipe out all cults through torture, rape, and murder? What were they experiencing and why were they so accepting of Goddesses from other cultures?

+ The Medicine Women have been documented , these witches, as having vast knowledge of over 3,000 plants and their healing properties. Where did they get this information?

+ Does the magic Walnut Tree of Benevento still exist? And is there resonance in the spot of its original location?

+Are there as many Goddesses as there are names for them?

+There is still much fear and “evilness” associated with using psychic senses and channeling-is it because a threat to church-who puts empowerment outside the self, while waiting on God, whereas a medium can get answers now?

+What is the importance of the color black in this spiritual culture?

+Are trees really magic?

+If these women were truly so evil and anti-life, why didnt’ they destroy the military and church?

+If they really were so powerful why couldn’t they prevent their own rapes and deaths? Why didn’t they run?

+If they truly were so evil, why did church subsume all their rituals and holidays?

+Has the demonization of women resulted in a world-wide in change of connection to natural world to synthetic control of it, and subsequent decline in quality of life and health of the planet?

OUIJA BOARDS.
I received a question from someone regarding Ouija Boards. The inquirer wanted to know what I think about them. Below you can find my thoughts on the matter, based on my personal experiences and experiences teaching other people.

The information I'm sharing here is largely geared towards inquirers who haven't trained their psychic senses nor have any knowledge of the practice of Mediumship (an organized system of practice for communicating with the Spirit World). This information is also regarding uneducated experiences with tools like the Spirit Board...in other words, messy experiences by curious people.

The Ouija Board, also called "Talking Board" and "Spirit Board," is a Mediumistic tool used to communicate with the Spirit World.

The Ouija Board is not a psychic tool using Universal energy, but rather a tool that works with consciousness. Therefore, all experiences had with a Ouija Board are coming from interactions with other disembodied conscious people, whether you understand this or not, whether they seem abstract or not.

This tool has resonance: it's been used so often in this way, (and its creation was intended assist communication with the Spirit World) that something occurs when it is put to use: people in the Spirit World can see it being used and consider that an "invitation into your space" where they can connect with you and your energy field. Some of these spirit people also used Spirit Boards when they lived in a physical body on earth. Most of the spirit people attracted to this board are not of a higher nature: they are often people living in the Astral Plane, who are by technical location people who have not completed their death transition for reasons specific to their choices. This means: people who don't want to face their "life review" and take responsibility for their life's actions' affects on others; people who died suddenly and are still coming to terms with their death; people who killed themselves and are coping with the same mindset they were in at that time; people who were bullies and manipulators and other low-mindset people on earth who enjoy being spirit attachments now. It is possible to meet helpful higher Guides, such as Spirit Guides and Angels, but without knowledge of how Spirit communication works, this is not the more common happenstance "meeting" using a Board.

You must use intention to create a positive experience, for your highest good.

Many people use Ouija Boards not realizing they have control over their experience with any spirit person and instead just leave things "to chance." However, that control has to do with setting intention, among many other factors having to do with the practice of Mediumship. For example, the Natural Laws of energy are at work here, as they always are with all energy. The Law of Attraction says that "like attracts like," and also "what you give out comes right back." Not setting an intention, when using a Board, is what causes so many problems.

This is not to say you're a bad person if you have a bad experience with a Ouija Board. What it does mean is that, if you've said to yourself something like "let's just see what happens with this Board," you in-effect open yourself to any type of experience, and you will likely get "any" experience. This  could be one or many spirit people form the Astral plane who likely want to "play" with you. In other words, you opened your personal space to allowing "anything in," effectively trusting a neighborhood of spirit people who are not necessarily looking out for your best, to come and do whatever they want with your time together. The reason for this is that higher quality Spirit people such as Guides generally don't gravitate towards the Oujia Board. This has to do with vibrations, the types of vibrations spirit people have, their location and purpose. The spirit people who are located most closely to us are ones in the Astral Plane, which is, to say simply, still a place close to earthly life (which is why many "ghosts" here remain in places where they lived while in a body).

Confusing experiences can happen even if you're a loving, kind person who just decides to play with the Ouija board. I've been told personal stories where a person "meets" a negative-minded spirit who   tries to scare the person, and then sticks around after the board is put away. This is an example not that you're "bad" and this attracting a "bad" situation, but perhaps you're someone who, out of kindness, give people an inch and find yourself being taken for much more than an inch. We can, for simple purposes, call this a "boundary issue," where you've put others before yourself, and therefore can have trouble protecting yourself, saying no, or speaking up for yourself. A lowly spirit can know this and play upon your fear. Spirit people, no matter how lowly or high quality, are using their psychic senses, and therefore have more information available to you than you do about them. So it's not a matter of you being "bad," but of you having a softness there that a negative-minded spirit can then use against you.

The Spirit world has its parallels in our earthly world... and vice versa.

For example, if you move into a new neighborhood and immediately have an "open house" party where you invite all your neighbors in the entire neighborhood and their friends (whom you haven't met and know nothing about), it's possible all sorts of people will show up: well-intentioned neighbors who'd like to begin a friendship with you, people who just want to scope you out, people who may want to "size you up" and see if you have anything worth stealing, people just looking for a good time, and a whole assortment of people with various intentions, positive, negative, and neutral.
Would you really through your doors open for just anyone and everyone in a terrain you know little about?

Mediumship is very similar. When opening yourself to communicating with the Spirit World before you know how to set your intention, before you know how to organize your experience for your highest good, to choose the Spirit company you'd like to associate with, to know the Natural Laws of Energy which give you the ability to start communication, end it, and have proper boundaries and higher learning without superstition, to have a close relationship with your Primary Spirit Guide who can protect you and organize your "space", you're literally opening a door to an "anything goes" party.

You may have a higher Spirit Guide show up, if you've invited one or have yearned for one enough in daily life, but being that they are of a much higher vibration than you, it takes some practice to feel them near you after you've invited them in. Likely, without understanding the more subtle communications of a Spirit Guide you will also have many Spirit people show up who are "closer" to you in location: "ghosts" or spirits in the Astral Realm...located very close to earth, the ones who're confused, not knowing their dead, ones who choose to remain here and bully people, lost ones, people who've committed suicide and all sorts of people who've not yet completed their death transition. Since they have passed out of their physical bodies, they are operating according to their psychic senses (and mind), they automatically can see/hear/sense much more than you. Their mind and personality determine what kind of intentions they have. So just opening your door to "see what you get" will likely result in all sorts of spirit people who've not yet completed their death transition because of trauma, confusion, or bad intentions. Is that really the company you wish to keep? And then, how do you "get rid of them?" Additionally, the concept that many people have about the Ouija Board "opening a door to the Spirit world" is a concept that puts the "entryway" for Spirit people into "your current space" on some literal unseen "door" that is separate from the person using the board. Most important for you to know is that the "doorway" is literally you; your energy body. Spirit people make the Board's planchette move by plugging into your energy body to create a psychic phenomenon of physical movement. You are the doorway, you are the one temporarily "sharing space" with a Spirit person.

There are far more appealing people to learn from and work with in the Spirit world than the population of "lost, astral-bound spirits," unless you are specifically choosing to help them understand their predicament and help them to cross over. This is something that should be done with someone who naturally feels the calling, and is not done with a Spirit Board, traditionally. Guides and Teachers from the Spirit world will work with you according to your invitation. In contrast, astral-bound spirit people will often force you to give them attention through inciting fear, moving objects, turning lights off and on, and other phenomena which are interruptive. Of course, there are times where a helpful passed-on relative or friend is creating these phenomena to act as a warning of some coming danger or to say "hello, I'm still near you."

In earlier days, the Board was used in the way ghost hunters use EVP machines. For people experiencing phenomenon with spirit people the Ouija Board and other homemade systems gave people a way to give the spirit person something to communicate with them through. An EVP gives a spirit person the opportunity to use energy to create a "voice." I spoke with some spirit people through my own Mediumistic abilities and gathered information from the spirit people themselves with my Guide assisting me, while friends used a machine. They were able to get only "yes" or "no" answers, to gather information, where each time for me I was able to get information about the spirit peoples' lives, that I then received confirmation from the spirit people through the EVP about the information I received. I simply told the spirit people out loud everything they'd told me telepathically and they confirmed with a very audible "yes."

Skeptics like to say that whomever uses the board is simply affecting it with their involuntary muscles. Religions  tend to go to the extreme of saying all spirits are "devils and evil."
There are people who, without knowing much about Mediumship, do have very positive experienes, but again this all depends on the person and their mindset and conscious and unconscious beliefs.  I've personally heard reports from people who've had long-lasting scary experiences with the Boards, which disprove the theory of them "making it all happen themselves," especially when the terrifying experiences with spirit people continue long after the Board has been put away. Involuntary muscles can't explain that away. Additionally, using a Board while on drugs or alcohol leaves more "energetic space" for a spirit person to take up temporarily in your energy body.

"Demons" and "evil" creatures that religions make people afraid of are not some separate creatures form the human race. Since there are just two types of energy: consciousness and universal, they are conscious people just like you and me. Like human beings on earth who've chosen to disregard the Law of Will of other people and become thieves, murderers, manipulators and more, spirit people exist who are also like this, and have devolved even more from that already low state-of-mind.
The church has a longstanding tradition for scaring people away from using their psychic senses and Mediumship, even though they encourage people to pray to God and wait on their answer (which is  Mediumship). They use the excuse that experiences with Ouija Boards are negative and "evil." This has to do with their governing system, which is to take away empowerment and direct connection to God of the individual, and instead supplanting a system of dependence on an outside person to do that or them. Negative experiences can be more easily explained as being experiences that are with lowly people, or disembodied people who need attention. Why? As I explained earlier, spirit people who come near boards, who make a lot of physical movement are ones who are living in the Astral Plane, which is the closest energetic Plane to living live in a physical, earthy environment. They want to still interact with life on earth. It's not that they are necessarily evil, but they are not higher Guides, they are not healer helpers, Master Teachers..they are common earth folk no longer in bodies.

The Astral Plane is full of spirit people like this because they are "stuck" there, not wanting to continue on with their death transition, which involves a "life review" and an acceptance of one's responsibility for the life they lived on earth. Not everyone wants to face their responsibility or feel the pain they caused others, even if it's for a brief learning opportunity on the way to advancing and learning more of a positive nature.

There are so many people who've opened the door to negative spirits coming into their lives with this tool. It's not to be taken lightly. Mediumship is not to be taken lightly, it's a way of life, not a game or a one-time thing.

"Supernatural" experiences that people "have" are invitations form the Spirit world to begin asking questions. Communicating intentionally with the Spirit world takes training and practice, and the better organized and more love-intentioned the practice, the better the experience.

People who've trained in a spiritual practice for communicating with the Spirit world tend to not use Ouija Boards, because' they've learned their own physical and energy bodies have the ability to "tune into" the Spirit world and how to choose their company. They naturally do not need something outside of themselves to connect to the Spirit world.

Ultimately, using a Spirit Board puts your connection to the Spirit world outside of you, outside of your control, unless you use it with intention and a knowledge of yourself and the Natural Laws of energy. Simpler and more fulfilling would be to learn how to communicate with Spirit through your own psychic senses by training with a local Spirit circle of note, preferably one at a Spiritualist community affiliated with the NSAC. The NSAC is an organization upholding the standards, ethics, philosophy, science, and religion of Spiritualism which is a progressive religious system whose organization began as a result of the Spirit world reaching out and teaching them (rather than a Religion who has decided, independently that they know all there is to know about the Universe and everything in it). Any "church", Medium, Minister affiliated with the NSAC has undergone scientific testing through a rigorous set of tests by a board panel. This assures you're working with people who are using a system of high quality intentions based on Natural Laws of energy and a specific code of ethics.

Psychic Science Lecture Series pt 2: Mediumship

This second lecture in my Psychic Science Series will take up where we left off with the first one:
Defining the Pillars of Mediumship, and how getting to know your psychic senses aids with Spirit Communication.

We'll also examine the beginnings of Spiritualism's history in the U.S. and hear about a few key Mediums.

We'll also touch on Ancient Spiritualism and learn the similarities between ancient rituals and modern mediumship and define the differences.

There will be mini readings given by guest mediums: Jeremy Damec, Chris Torno, and Karyn Crisis. Medium and Reiki Healer Lorraine Nacamulli will get us all connected with a brief Guided Meditation.

We'll end the night connecting with Spiritualism's roots using earth, air, fire, and water in a guided meditation based on the idea of the Oracle at Delphi to connect with one of our ancestors.

I hope you can make it!
Suggested donation is $15.

Resurrections

I think it's safe to say that almost everyone on the planet has a "ghost story" to tell- or has believed in ghosts at one point in their lives…or still wants to. It's fairly easy to find a film from any culture about ghosts these days.  There are reality shows where people "hunt" ghosts. There are haunted houses at Halloween time, tourist destinations alleging famous ghost sightings, photographs of orbs, and all sorts of personal documented stories of encounters with "supernatural" beings. Ghostly images are prevalent in current art and are always alive in fictional writing. Modern photographers still play with exposures to poetically present the idea of ghostly figures present in the same room as living people.

Some of us feel connected to our ancestors and can palpably feel the resonance of their respective cultures. We can almost hear them whispering their old ways in our ears. We believe in the poetry of the idea of their resonance hovering around us, alive in a way, but we tend to think of them more as a living memory: something left in the past. We are hesitant to think of them alive now, in the present moment, continuing to grow and learn in their own lives (in bodies of light, or energy, rather than in lives of flesh). It's easier to think of them in the past, even as ghostly memories, because we can attach that idea of their lives as having been formed in fleshy bodies. It's something we can relate to and understand.

When it comes to life after death, however, peoples' belief levels tend to run cool, and many cultures and religions have beliefs regarding the "good" or "bad" ability to see "ghosts." This judgment system tends to act as a deterrent for many people from exploring the world of Spirit. The idea of a loved one living on after death seems to meet with resistance in our minds, as if contemplating it "for real" will challenge our beliefs and shake us to the core, loosening old ideas that maybe aren't our own but which we cling to because we aren't sure what else to hold onto. The idea of a ghost story allows for more imagination, we tell ourselves:  there’s more room for speculation and less rules to adhere to.  It's easier for us to believe in the romanticism of a story than in the reality that life continues on, perhaps because that idea seems so ordinary and so unbelievable at the same time. It seems that since "ghosts" are invisible, they must be feared. I think this simply comes from the fact that we can feel Spirit and know that what we feel is exactly what a human being in the flesh feels like...and the scary part is that we cannot see what we are feeling.

Personally, I believe the idea of life after death is so controversial, not because it challenges our ideas about death, which we feel we have the right to speculate and change our minds about, but because it challenges our idea of what life is right now. We tend to think we have life "all figured out"(for the most part, anyway) or that life has to operate in certain ways according to the societies in which we live.
For most of us, the idea that someone we once knew continues to live on after the death of their physical bodies challenges our idea that life is about suffering.  Why? Because if life continues on after earth life, then perhaps "death" isn't so bad after all…and then we have to change our ideas about death.
We fear that we will never see our loved ones again, and we hold ideas of hell, damnation and finalization.  These ideas feed into guilt and the idea of an angry, moody God. Maybe we feel that there is nothing "out there," and that it's all here on earth. Some people take this idea to the other extreme, believing that since there is nothing after this life, they can do whatever they want because they don't have to worry about the consequences of their actions.

Spirit communication is so unique because the experience is undeniable for both the medium giving the message and the person receiving the message. While a message from a loved one who we thought no longer exists after their death doesn't answer all our questions, these experiences do resonate in our hearts, minds, and bodies as being true. After each message, we let go of the need to know everything, having just experienced some bit of evidence for ourselves.

As a medium, I find that giving messages to people from their Spirit Guides or loved ones who've passed on is so interesting because the process requires blind trust. I mostly give messages to people I don't know from Spirit people I don't know.  So I must trust my ability to pass on the visual, verbal and emotional information I am receiving to the person awaiting answers. I can later receive confirmation of its accuracy. This is a learning process for me and for them. Often I am allowed to see the person receiving a reading through the eyes and perspective of their passed-on parent, which offers me the story of their life path and layers upon layers that are part of the person I'm giving a reading to.

Once, I received messages concerning a father's health and lifestyle from a young man in Spirit. Once I gave the information to the still living-on-earth father, I found out the son had died as a small child, yet he had appeared to me as a young man, indicating that he was continuing to grow and learn.

I commonly receive communication with Spirit people who are happy and confident and who offer information that they are no longer suffering from whatever disease they had in physical form. They explain that since the flesh is gone, so are the conditions and limitations of being in flesh.
Often a Spirit Guide has encouraging advice for someone who is working to make an aspiration a reality. Spirit Guides have information from a larger perspective than do we in our moment-to-moment lives.
Message after message there appears a constant:  the continuity of intelligent life.

And we, in our daily lives, can also resurrect ourselves any day, at any time, by accepting responsibility for where we are now and for where we want to go. The hopefulness of understanding that we can change at any time comes often after the pain of acknowledging that we don't like where or who we are in a certain moment, and that despite seeming circumstances, we have a part to play in that. This can cause a "little death," as more of the illusion of limitation falls away and we begin to peek at our greater, eternal self…

But that's a blog for another day...

so below."

Welcome to My Blog!

The purpose of my blog is to demystify what is considered "supernatural" and to explain just how natural it is for human beings to have psychic and mediumistic abilities.

Ultimately what I'll share here on this blog will be responses from my Spirit Guides to your questions, and since my Guides often give me information well beyond my own personal experience or knowledge, this will be a learning opportunity for all of us. This blog will not focus so much on what I can do and what I have done with my psychic and mediumistic abilities, but rather through my experiences and channeled information from my Guides show you the potential of what YOU can do when fully connected to yourself.

I welcome your questions and queries, because this will be the basis for asking my Guides responses.

Through my writings, website, blog, lectures and books I am illustrating just how natural it is for every human being to use psychic and mediumistic information and how we are designed to receive information this way, in addition to our 5 senses.

I believe so much of our unhappiness and depression and addiction is due to the disconnection from our intuitive selves; confusion about how to connect to our inner wisdom and the confusion about all the extra information we already receive or perceive without knowing what to call it or identify to whom it belongs. Social taboos around the words "psychic" and "medium" are just results of religio-political programming we've all been exposed to that takes the idea of empowerment from ourselves and places it in the hands of someone else.

We don't all have the luxury of taking large amounts of time "off" from our daily lives and responsibilities to explore the great "mysteries", to meditate for hours a day or go on a vision quest...but we might want to! We don't all have time to let ourselves spend time deep in the throes of despair and climb back out using a variety of ancient modalities and energy techniques, but I did! I took that time and had people support me through emotional zero and then reawakening to the secrets of the universe, so to give back I'd like to share what I've discovered.

I'll provide information to clarify what "psychic" means, what a "medium" is, what different healing modalities are about, the history of Spiritualism from ancient times to modern, why Spirit loves a skeptic, ways to move energy, pros and cons of techniques and teachings, and to offer guidance on how you can find the path(s) that will appeal to you. I'll offer practical ways to discern based on my own research, healing journeys, personal life experiences and guidance from my Guides--not for me to tell you what's right for you, but to help you understand how to listen to your own Spirit, because it's trying to tell you what's right for you.

The personal mission I have invested in this is for you to believe in your own greatness. You are no mere small thing. With the information I'll provide, you can then challenge your own hearts and minds and come to your own conclusions.

So please send in your questions so I can answer them here: KarynCrisisMedium@gmail.com
